In order to make the site available to you, it is necessary for information to be recorded by the computer system of the accessing computer (server log files). This is the following data: Name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data). The access data is used exclusively for the purpose of delivering the website content. The data is not analyzed for marketing purposes in this context. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no option to object.

We offer you the opportunity to contact us via our e-mail address if you have any questions. Data is processed for the purpose of contacting us in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. The personal data collected by us for the purpose of contacting you will be automatically deleted after your request has been dealt with. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

4 Registration and opening of a customer account

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or email) or when opening a customer account. 5 E-mail newsletter and postal advertising

5.1 E-mail advertising with registration for the newsletter and your right to object

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter. The newsletter is sent via HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc (25 First Street, 2nd Floor Cambridge, MA 02141 United States). HubSpot is a software company from the USA with a European headquarters in Ireland (One Dockland Central, Dublin 1, Ireland) and is subject to the TRUSTe Privacy Seal and the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework.

The information you provide in the input mask when registering for the newsletter will be transmitted to the editorial system and used for the purpose of sending the newsletter (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

We use a "double opt-in" procedure to ensure that you are the actual owner of the email address you have provided. We keep a log for this purpose

  • your consent to receive the newsletter,
  • the sending of the confirmation email and
  • your confirmation of the confirmation email by clicking on the link.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. To do so, either use the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or contact us using the contact details provided in this privacy policy. After unsubscribing, we will delete your e-mail address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

5.2 E-mail advertising without subscribing to the newsletter and your right to object

If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar products to those you have already purchased from our range by e-mail. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, in a promotional approach to our customers. The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Section 7 (3) UWG. You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the advertising e-mail, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. The newsletter is sent as part of processing on our behalf by HubSpot, to which we pass on your email address for this purpose. This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

5.3 Postal advertising and your right to object

In addition, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address and - if we have received this additional information from you as part of the contractual relationship - your title, academic degree, year of birth and your professional, industry or business name in summarized lists and to use them for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, in a promotional approach to our customers. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

6 Cookies and analysis tools used

We use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files that are copied from a web server to your hard disk. Cookies contain information that can later be read by a web server in the domain in which the cookie was issued to you. Cookies cannot execute programs or place viruses on your computer. Cookies can be blocked by your browser. The help function in the menu bar of most web browsers explains how and to what extent you can block new cookies or generally deactivate the use of cookies. In this case, however, we will no longer be able to offer you some of the functions of our website.

We use the following tracking and analysis tools:

6.1 Google Analytics

This website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics ("Universal" module including anonymize IP function). The provider is Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. The purpose of data collection is to analyze the flow of visitors to our website. Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website in order to compile online reports for us. Google Analytics places a cookie in your browser. By setting the cookie, Google is able to analyze the use of our website. Each time you access a website on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, the Internet browser is automatically prompted to transmit data to Google. No personal data is transmitted to Google in the process. The IP address collected by us is only forwarded to Google after it has been anonymized.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer to enable your use of this website to be analyzed. The usage information generated in this way is usually transferred to a US Google server and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You have the option to object to the collection and processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing this browser add-on.

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can clickthis link.

6.2 HubSpot

We use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc (25 First Street, 2nd Floor Cambridge, MA 02141 United States) on our website for the purpose of online marketing. HubSpot is a software company from the USA with European headquarters in Ireland (One Dockland Central, Dublin 1, Ireland) and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. HubSpot is a web content management system and marketing automation system that we use, among other things, to create and manage our websites and to optimize our marketing measures. On some of our pages, it is possible to load content developed by us (e.g. e-books, checklists or white papers) after filling out a form. In this context, we collect contact information and, if applicable, information on the demographics and origin of our visitors. This information is stored on HubSpot's servers. With this stored data, we can contact our visitors and find out in advance which of our services might be of interest to them.

We use the following applications: Forms, Lead flows, Ads.

The purpose of data collection is to analyze user behavior on our website. Based on the information obtained through the analysis, we can provide you with personalized content. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

A HubSpot application uses so-called "web beacons" (web bugs or tracking pixels) and also sets cookies, which are stored on your computer and enable us to analyze your use of the website. HubSpot evaluates the information collected (e.g. IP address, geographical location, type of browser, duration of the visit and pages accessed) on our behalf to generate reports on the visit and the pages visited.

Web counting pixels are tiny graphics with a unique identifier. Their function is similar to that of cookies, and they are used to track the online movements of web users. Unlike cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, tracking pixels are embedded invisibly on websites or in emails and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We use tracking pixels in our HTML-based emails to track which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of certain communications and our marketing campaigns. We combine the data collected by tracking pixels in emails with the personal data of our customers. We use all the information collected exclusively to optimize our marketing measures.

If you generally do not want HubSpot to collect data, you can prevent the storage of cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings accordingly or assert your rights as a data subject with HubSpot. Upon request, HubSpot will provide you with information about whether HubSpot has stored any of your personal data. To exercise your data subject rights, please send an email to privacy@hubspot.com or write to HubSpot, Inc, 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141 USA, Attention: Privacy.

You can find more information about how HubSpot works here in the privacy policy of HubSpot Inc.

6.3 Hotjar

This website uses the analysis and feedback tool Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe). The passive collection of data from randomly selected users serves to optimize the website and improve the user experience. In addition to recording interactions (such as clicks and mouse movements), other information such as date, time and browser information is collected and stored anonymously. This allows user preferences as well as technical problems with the site to be identified and processed. The information is not personal data. The data is analyzed for statistical purposes. It is not passed on to third parties by Hotjar. The purpose of data collection is to optimize our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can object to the collection of data on this website by setting the DoNotTrack header in your browser. However, if you delete cookies, use a different browser or use private mode/incognito mode, this will result in data being collected again. You can deactivate data collection for Hotjar here: https://www.hotjar.com/opt-out

6.4 AddThis

On our website, we use plugins from the AddThis service, which is operated by AddThis LLC, 1595 Spring Hill Rd, Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182, USA ("AddThis"). AddThis provides tools for creating and designing websites (www.addthis.com), which are intended to make it easier for website visitors to share the current page with other internet users by email or in social networks. You can recognize the plugins by the "Tweet", "E-Mail", "LinkedIn" and "g+1" buttons integrated on parts of our website. AddThis also provides tools for website operators to help analyze and improve the use of their own website or to enable a direct user approach. AddThis also uses cookies and web beacons (small graphics, "tracking pixels", which enable log file recording and log file analysis). When you use an AddThis plugin, your Internet browser establishes a direct connection with the AddThis servers and, if applicable, the selected social network. The data generated in the process (such as time of use or browser language) is transmitted to AddThis and processed there. If you send content from our website to social networks, a connection can be established between your visit to the website and your user profile on the relevant social network. The purpose of data collection is the analysis of visitor flows and the optimization of our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent AddThis from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already set by AddThis can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs.

The data subject also has the option of permanently objecting to the processing of personal data by AddThis. To do this, the data subject must click the opt-out button under the link http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-outwhich sets an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie set with the objection is stored on the information technology system used by the data subject. If the cookies on the data subject's system are deleted after an objection, the data subject must call up the link again and set a new opt-out cookie. However, if the opt-out cookie is set, it is possible that the data subject will no longer be able to use the controller's website to its full extent. Further information on data processing and data protection by AddThis can be found at http://www.addthis.com/privacy/privacy-policy.

6.5. etracker

This website uses etracker, the web analysis service of etracker GmbH (Erste Brunnenstraße 1, 20459 Hamburg, Germany) to analyze usage data. Cookies are used to statistically analyze the use of this website by our visitors and to display usage-related content or advertising. The data generated in this way is processed and stored by etracker on our behalf exclusively in Germany and is therefore subject to the strict German and European data protection laws and standards. etracker has been independently audited and certified in this regard and has been awarded the ePrivacyseal data protection seal of approval. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR (legitimate interest) and serves to optimize our online offer and our website. Since the privacy of our visitors is important to us, the data that may allow a reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, login or device identifiers, are anonymized or pseudonymized as soon as possible. No other use, merging with other data from etracker or disclosure to third parties takes place.

You can object to the data processing described above at any time, insofar as it is personal. More information: https://www.etracker.com/datenschutz/

6.6 Facebook pixel

Facebook: In order to enable user group-controlled marketing in social networks, tracking of the social media service Facebook Inc. is integrated on this website by means of a pixel. When you visit our website, the pixel is loaded by your web browser. In the process, information is sent to Facebook. This includes information on whether Facebook cookies are set in your browser. This information is used to assign the browser session to a person. This assignment is pseudonymized only on the basis of a Facebook ID, so that no personal reference can be established for us. It is possible to object to behavior-based advertising at http://optout.aboutads.info/?c=2#!/. If you check the box here, an opt-out cookie will be set in your browser. You can make additional settings for advertising on Facebook in your user profile.

6.7 LinkedIn Insights

We use the LinkedIn conversion tracking re-targeting tool from LinkedIn Ireland (Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight Tag (a small JavaScript tag) is integrated on our website, which enables LinkedIn to collect statistical, pseudonymous data about your visit and use of our website and to provide us with corresponding aggregated statistics on this basis. The purpose of data collection is the analysis of visitor flows and the optimization of our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Based on the information collected, we can show you interest-specific and relevant offers and recommendations after you have shown an interest in certain services, information and offers on the website. The relevant information is stored in a cookie. You can prevent the storage of cookies by changing your browser settings. Alternatively, you can object to this form of data processing by clicking on the following link https://www. linkedin. com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out to set an opt-out cookie that will remain on your device until you delete the cookies. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like", "Tweet" or "Instagram" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the provider and stored there. The information is also published on the social network, on your Twitter or Instagram account and displayed there to your contacts.

7.2 YouTube plugin

We use plugins from the Google service YouTube (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA) in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offering. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube assigns your user behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the YouTube data protection information.

7.3 Use of AddThis plugins (e.g. "Share" button)

Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the bookmarking service AddThis, which is operated by AddThis LLC, Inc. 8000 Westpark Drive, Suite 625, McLean, VA 2210, USA ("AddThis"). The plugins are usually marked with an AddThis logo, for example in the form of a white plus sign on an orange background. You can find an overview of the AddThis plugins and their appearance here: https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing

When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the AddThis servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by AddThis directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through the integration, AddThis receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website and stores a cookie on your end device to identify your browser. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to an AddThis server in the USA and stored there. AddThis uses the data to create anonymized user profiles, which serve as the basis for a personalized and interest-based advertising approach to visitors to websites with AddThis plugins. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by AddThis can be found in the AddThis privacy policy:

http://www.addthis.com/privacy/privacy-policy

You will find plugins from the social network LinkedIn or the LinkedIn Corporation (2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend" button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn is able to associate your visit to our website with you and your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn.
